Cilka’s Journey by Heather Morris

This video was used on broadcast TV, as well as other versions for social media etc. This book was a follow up to a very successful title, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, and is one of our better selling titles.

We only had the artwork from the cover to work with, so I separated it out, and created a mock perspective to pan into the cover.

We found some really moving music, as this book is of a more serious nature, based on a true story. The music decided the pacing of the pan. It slowly moves forward as the woman grows nearer and finally becomes the cover.
